Chelsy Killick

Chelsy Killick is the Deputy Director, Organisation. With a demonstrated history of working in the public policy industry, Chelsy has over three decades of experience in corporate and government agencies.
She has been with the Initiative since its founding in 2012, playing a crucial role in its growth and development.
At the Initiative, Chelsy is responsible for a wide range of tasks, including coordinating events, managing human resources, overseeing communications, and handling operations.
In addition to her day-to-day responsibilities, Chelsy has been instrumental in organising the logistics behind the Initiative's three international business delegations to Switzerland (2017), Denmark (2019), and Ireland (2023). These delegations have helped to strengthen the Initiative's global connections and foster valuable partnerships.
Working closely with the Board on governance matters, Chelsy also plays a key role in managing membership and ensuring the smooth functioning of the organisation.
Her extensive experience and dedication to her role have made her an invaluable asset to The New Zealand Initiative.
